Thanks!
Yes!!! I have moved on, no more stressing about the test.
Speaking of moving on...I have embraced the y'all.
and the NASCAR. My son will be raised here in Nascar country and will be going to races with his little southern buddies, so I can't be hatin' on it anymore. Besides, the majority of the mothers I meet have husbands that race for a living... and yo, they live LARGE.
It's different when you're down here, people. When you're living down here. Once a northerner moves down south, a lot of your perceptions about how things are...change.
Guess that's all I have to say about that.
Hey, we have 3 contestants from our state in the American Idol top 12. In our area, that is bigger than the Nascar at the moment. I am still rooting for Chris Daugherty...(don't know if I spelled that right). He has such a great voice and he totally rocks.
And of course, Pick Pickler, since she lives a few towns over, even though she is ditzy. Her home town is rooting for her big time and it is nice to drive around and see the support.
Also, Bucky is really popular here in Rockingham as well. It is funny for me to hear the stories of Gill driving through their home towns for his job, and all of the signs saying to vote for their local "celebrity".
It is American Idol insanity down here. After Fantasia and Clay Aiken won, this state takes that competition very seriously....(i.e, the I love Clay Aiken bumper stickers I see on a LOT of minivans AND when we're in High Point...the signs that say, You are in High Point, home of Fantasia...hahahaha, even though High Point is like the furniture capital of the United States...Fantasia gets props!)
